  • Hi,

can you please share what slugs are you providing in categories in PPOM?

sweatshirts – this is the only category we have added in PPOM

It is applying to the following categories as well somehow
    work-shirts
    polo-shirts
    t-shirts
    jackets
    jackets-country-clothing

Well, in your first post you said, it is applying wherever the word ‘shirts’ but now you can see it is not the case in your last post. It is something else. Maybe some spaces or I don’t know how you adding categories with PPOM.

I had the same issue for a website I built with a client. I was adding the primary category & subcategory and it was failing like that.

I tried it without the parent category and it works just fine for me.

I am assuming you are entering “bestsellers/sweatshirts”. But you may not be.

Just enter “sweatshirts” or whatever the subcategory name is in the category assignment of the meta group.

I am just entering in the sub-category of ‘sweatshirts’

And it is applying to other categories with the words ‘shirt’ in as well:
    work-shirts
    polo-shirts
    t-shirts

It looks as if the ‘jackets’ crossover is because the product appears in those categories as well. But it is not tagged to appear in the other ‘shirts’ category.

Ok, we are working on a special update ‘PPOM Energy Pack’ and we totally changed the Backend UI in phase 1 and it is almost ready. It is a really nice and fast UI for the admin to play with PPOM Fields. So we will address this issue more easy way like attach categories by IDs rather than slugs.

And phase 2 of PPOM Energy Pack, we will be adding Fron-end using UK-Kit replacing the Bootstrap.
