Category Drop Down Cut off by Video– HALP!

  • Hiya,

    I’m having an issue with my drop down categories. See website here:
    https://up-project.org. When you mouse over the category listing at the top, the full list is cut off by the embedded videos on the site.

    Anyone know how to give the categories priority, and to have the listing come all the way down over the video?

  • The menus work OK in Safari and Firefox; more than likely you’ve got a z-index problem with IE. Try embeding your video with WordPress ? Kimili Flash Embed ? WordPress Plugins which may solve it.

    If not, try adding a position: relative; z-index:100; to #catnav in your style sheet, but your mileage may vary, depending on how the theme is coded.

    Thanks! For some reason, it works fine when I’m on my mac, but has problems displaying on a windows PC. I’ll try this out and see what happens.
