Category excluded from archives, tag pages no results

  • I excluded a category from archives which is working.
    But now, if I click on the sidebar tag cloud links, no results are shown for those posts.
    I only checked “Archives” not “Widget: Tag Cloud” for this category.

    Does that mean that if “Archives” is checked, the posts also don’t appear on the tag pages anymore?
