Category Filter Ignored Twig

When using the category filters, the javascript ignores what you did in the twig file. In my instance, I’m changing the event url to link to the ticket page directly but if you filter the category, the ajax response is parsed by the javascript and uses the event permalink anyway. Any recommendation ?
