Category ID that changes after a single edition

  • Hello,
    As you can see I manage a sizable online sales site WordPress / WooCommerce.
    This morning, after changing 6 categories to add images. I see on a page using the ID of the categories in a shortcode that two categories are no longer displayed.
    After searching for a while, I realized to my astonishment (and anxiety) that the two categories in question have changed their ID are spent ID 51 and 52 to 754 and 755. This poses and can pose some many worries.
    Do you have an opinion on what is for me a rather serious problem. So I’m afraid to change other categories. Knowing that the ID is considered around this site and especially serves to WordPress to “sort the categories.”
