Hi, any tip to add to category pages image (not thumbnail) and description ? Thanks by advance (really should be native on my opinion but don’t seems at all).

  • Hello esquipulas

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

Could you please explain your requirements in a bit more detail?
What purpose Image and Description will serve and where do you want them to appear?
A screenshot will be helpful in better understanding.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Best regards.

    Hi @doublezed2 thanks for answer.

I’m using Storefront. By the way it display category description (yesterday was not the case but my bad, surely a cache problem). It display it below cat title which is ok.

My other point was to have the possibility to add image to the description, banner by example. Always below cat title. Tried to integer directly html code in the cat description with img tag but noway ??

Ideally cat description, banners etc. should be editable and customizable by blocks but this is an other point …

That’s great to hear! Thanks for letting us know.

This would require custom code as it’s not a feature that is currently available within WooCommerce or the Storefront theme. We recommend hiring a developer if you’re not comfortable with coding.

I wish I could help more, but hopefully, this gets you going in the right direction to get the job done.
