Hello,
Thanks for using our plugin!
If you are using WordPress standard categories:
WordPress :
https://your_url/category
https://your_url/tagIf you are using Category to page Unique categories:
Category to Page :
https://your_url/categories
https://your_url/tagsCan you try this and give me feedback?
Regards, Danny
hi
i use same categories standard both for posts and pages but in url they doesnt appear
thanksHi I have the same problem.
Scenario:
I checked Add Categories to Pages, but not Tags.
I checked Activate for Unique categories (tho I could go with post categories)
Settings Permalinks, I set Custom = /%categories%/%postname%/
(I saw no mention of permalinks in your docs…?)
My url = sub.localhost
My page slug = test
In my edit Test Page, I put it in Unique category = My Cat
At the top of the edit Test Page, the Permalink still says
https://sub.localhost/testHowever, that link no longer works, as expected.
I expect it to now be either
https://sub.localhost/my_cat/test
https://sub.localhost/my-cat/testBut neither work.
So the permalink is broken in every way now.
I tried with Unique category = ‘pages’, a category without a space, still nada:
https://sub.localhost/pages/testI changed Setting Permalink back to Postname, and the original link works, the unique category is ignored.
1. Please try to reproduce, or tell me where I messed up!
2. Do you convert spaces in categories to hyphen or dash?
thx-philHi Phil,
I’m working to solve this issue and let you know here when solved.
Sorry for the inconvenience it caused.

DannyNew version:
= 2.1.3 =
* Add category in URL if using post categories for pages and permalink Custom Structure = /%category%/%postname%/
* Category in URL for pages is disabled when using option: unique categories for pages.
* CSS updated.Regards,
DannyHi All,
I will set this post as solved, there i have added a solution.
Adding the unique categories, into the URL will be a feature which i will add later on, there it requires a total rewrite of the plugin structure.Regards,
DannyHi Danny –
I’m stuck here. CTP WUD version 2.1.5. WP version 4.8.
1. The only option checked in CTP is the upper left = “Add Categories to Pages”
2. permalinks = mysite.com/%category%/%postname%/
3. Create page title => select category => permalink created is mysite.com/%postname%/
I’ve tried many different iterations and options, but none of them seem to get the category in the URL when I Add New page and select the category.
Can you take another look at this issue?
Thanks Danny,
TrevorI had the same problem, I fixed it creating by creating a parent page with the title of the category and made my pages to child pages.
eg:
country (parent page)
– USA (child page)
– Canada (child page)the parent pages will reflect nice inside the permalinks
eg https://yoursite…/parentpage/pageHi Trevor (@crebli),
Thanks for using our plugin and sorry for the late reply.
I have test this and there is an issue which i have to resolve.
I did the same and found that the URL from this is valid for both.
Sample: page = mypage and category = mycat.
Your URL will be: yoursite/mycat/mypage AND yoursite/mypage
Meaning that in normal conditions the URL must be redirected from yoursite/mypage to yoursite/mycat/mypage.
This is not at this moment, so i have to check where it goes wrong.
I let you know when it’s ready! This article is set as not solved.
@coachbotak , thanks for the feedback and workaround!
Regards, Danny
