Category limit no longer working

I’m developing a customer site that uses your addon on The Event Calendar. I updated the main plugin yesterday and that caused all category limitations on your addon to stop working. I have different event categories showing on different pages that should show only related events to that page. Now all events are shown everywhere. Please advice how to get the categories to work properly again. Thank you already in advance.
