Category links aren't working

  • When I click on the links to a category (either from the admin pages or from the website just above the post’s headline), it brings up a blank page – not even a 404 error, just a blank page.

    I’m using the Cleanr theme and I updated to a new version yesterday, so that may have affected it, but I am not sure.

    Any help on where I can even begin looking to fix this would be appreciated.

  • Switch to twenty eleven theme and check your category works if it does then try and install the theme.

    Thanks for the advice. I did do a live preview of the theme and the category links work (so that means that the the category was the problem?). But I’d really rather not change my theme.

    Is there somewhere I can look in the code to figure out why the URL is pulling up a blank page in my current theme?

    It may be category.php file in your theme try and replace the file.

    I don’t see a category.php file in the theme editor.

    I also just noticed that the tag links are also pulling up a blank page as well.
