• I have made a few posts, and when I go to edit them I can see they are categorized in the correct categories and that they have tags. But when I open the posts, the category and tags for each post are either not showing or are not showing as links. The categories for the related posts are also not showing as links. I have removed the plugin I was using to remove the category base and reset the links in the settings. the categories are still not showing up as links.

Any ideas would be appreciated. I have another site that is doing the same thing.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • The output of this information is controlled by the theme. You use TwentyTwentyOne as theme. There is no option to hide this. However, this happens with you – apparently through a JavaScript. So I suspect that this is related to some plugin you are using. Deactivate them all and then activate them bit by bit until the output is no longer visible – then you have found the guilty plugin.

Thank you for your feedback. I have deactivated every plugin, I only had 12 to start, except Jet Pack, its associated security plugins, and PowerPress. I still can’t see the category links. I’m worried about deactivating the security plugins and since they are used by loads of people, I can’t imagine they are the issue. Any additional thoughts would be appreciated.

I see the categories and tags on your blog posts now. So it was one of the plugins you disabled.

If you don’t see it: reload the page without browser cache.

I wound up deleting the plugin that was removing the footer. That has brought back the categories and tags. Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.

Glad if I could help. You are welcome to set the topic to solved.
