Category listing problem

  • Hi,

    I am using wck as custome post type / taxonomies creator. I created a post type of video and Video Category as taxonomies. But While creating a new video post, category doesn’t appear as a list of checkboxes as in post. It appears as a textbox where I have to type mannualy the categories. What can be done to show it as a list of checkboxes.

  • I don’t know what ‘wck’ is.. but it sounds like you set the category option as ‘hierarchical’ argument incorrectly.

    If you set it to false.. try true.

    From the codex:
    hierarchical
    (boolean) (optional) Is this taxonomy hierarchical (have descendants) like categories or not hierarchical like tags.
    Default: false
