My categories are not all being mapped correctly and there is not an option to do so in this plugin. Other plugins such as Customer Reviews for WooCommerce have the ability to do this and generate an XML feed. Your team should take a look at their plugin, specifically the integration with google services section. Adding some of their features would improve your plugin tremendously!

    1. Will category mapping be added in the near future?
    2. Can I utilize the xml map from the reviews plugin in addition to the google ads plugin to correct the category mapping?

  • Hi there ??

Thank you for contacting Woo support!

My categories are not all being mapped correctly and there is not an option to do so in this plugin.

Can you elaborate further on this, please? What is implemented so far, and what is the result?

A picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes, therefore, could you also share a screenshot of the screen where the category mapping is listed, please? https://snipboard.io/ is a good (online) tool of choice for sharing it here.

To help you further, I’d like to understand more about your setup.

Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here or into our https://Quickforget.com service and send that secret link here.

Can I utilize the xml map from the reviews plugin in addition to the google ads plugin to correct the category mapping?

Just to clarify, you would like to utilize the XML from the Customer Reviews for WooCommerce in the Google Listings & Ads functionality?

We await your response to better assist you.

I have had this all set up for months and it’s working but missing some features. The google listings and ads plugin does not have settings to manually map product categories and solely relies on google to assign categories which results in many that are incorrectly categorized.

Yes, I was thinking it could possibly be used as a secondary feed to provide missing data or replace data that is not correct.

Here is the information you requested. https://quickforget.com/s/0915090e21e197df9815e525d2c3f30377781ef87434af24
