Category Menu Customization

  • Hi there,
    I’m a newbie to coding for WordPress, and wondered if someone could help point me the way to making some much needed changes to my site at wildflowersmovement.com

    I have most of my menu items working the way I want, but the last two are categories named “events” and “blog”. First of all I’d like to keep the primary menu navigation on top of both of those pages when they are opened.

    Secondly I’m trying to customize the format of the “blog” so that the articles present as single posts across the page lined up one on top of each other.

    I have been able to locate the category.php under the “wp-includes” folder. I appreciate your help.
