category name followed by ‘an unwanted number’

  • Try editing the category slug in Admin/Post/Categories.

    Thanks for replying.

    In Admin/Post/Categories there is only category and that is uncategorised.
    I think I created a page called Central Heating Services then for whatever reason I deleted it (once it was published).

    I then created it again which then led to the problem of having the 2 after the cat name . . .

    Sorry – I meant edit the Permalink in Admin/Pages/Edit Page.

    No luck.

    It does allow me to change it but when I update the page it reverts back to the cat inc number . . .
