category ignored on custom post types

Hi Wayne,

Love Postie – it’s so powerful.

I have tried sucessfully to use Postie to email posts into a custom post type (Document). However, when I add categories defined against that post type to the subject like below, the categories get ignored.

posttype//subject [cat1]
or
posttype//[cat1] subject
or
posttype//[id] subject
or
posttype//subject [id]

The categories in question are in their own category list under that plugin’s menu and they appear to be normal categories in that they live in the wp_terms tabel.

Is this a bug or can I make a feature request to integrate custom post categories into Postie please?
