Category Options

Ok, I found a kind of answer here:

These checkboxes allow you to specify whether or not to display:

* any Images associated with the links in this category,
* any Descriptions of links in this category,
* the Ratings of the links in this category,
* and whether a link has been recently Updated.

Though my question now is, where is it supposed to display these? (the images associated with category X, if it is ticked, the ratings etc etc).

I am having a similar, and perhaps related problem: On the “Manage Links” screen, no checkboxed appear on the right-hand side (though I believe they’re supposed to be there). I’ve tested using both Safari and Firefox on Mac OS 10.3.

Ah, you are talking about Link Manager features! I kept looking all over in the Category Panel for what you are talking about. I’m sure someone will have an answer for you, soon. Your title and first question was confusing. Actually, the use of vague and similar words like “category” and “category” and “page” and “Page” and so on are a blight on the software….I do hope we can get the semantics figured out soon.

The problem is with the Link Manager explanations not templates, Kaf. If I understand the question.
