Category Page Issue / Cart Issue

Hi there, I updated to the newest version because I was having problems with not being able to change the sidebar to my desired sidebar for the shop/products. After updating my shop page was wiped of all the text and additional add-on’s I’d applied and it messed up my menu bar as well. I fixed all of that and ended up doing a workaround for the sidebar (so the update still didn’t fix my issue). Regardless… my larger problems are:

1) When I go to a product category page is there a way to only make visible the product image/price like on the main shop page? It’s showing the product description (and duplicating that information, which compounds the cluttered look of the page).

2) When trying to add a product to the cart, if I click “add to cart” it doesn’t take me to my cart, it simply puts “View Cart” under the “add to cart” button. Is there a way to change that show it shows my cart?

3) When hitting the “View Cart” button mentioned in issue #2, it doesn’t take me to my cart, it keeps me on my current page.

Also, I realize I may be making it difficult to help me, but I don’t have my page live for you to see because I don’t want to make a site/shop live if the shop is broken.
