Category page numbers not working

  • In the category pages the page numbers are not showing how they are supposed to. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve noticed this pattern: In the categories that I have less than 100 post, it only shows 1 page (with whatever number of post I put to show per page), if the category has from 100 to 199 posts it shows only 2 pages… and so on.. so it adds 1 page for every 100 posts, for example I have one category with 409 posts and it shows 5 pages only.
    Does anyone know where could be the problem?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
