    Hi,

    I have a static page under the /news/ slug -> https://primexm.com/news/
    I also have a category with the same slug.

    The issue is that now the category overrides the static page – (Category base in perm links section is set to ‘.’).

    This was not an issue before – the latest update seems to have created this issue.

    I would like to be able to view the page under the /news/ slug rather than the category., just like before.

    Can you please advise?

    Thanks,
    Alekos

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    If you deactivate the Yoast SEO plugin temporarily, does this resolve the issue?

    If you have a static page under /news/ slug and you also have a category under /news/ slug too and you have also removed the category from the base URL using the Yoast SEO plugin, you won’t really be able to see both of them. Any of these either will override another one as two pages cannot use the same slug on a website.

    If you’d like to use the category under /news/ slug, you can disable the option to remove category base from the URL using the Yoast SEO plugin to resolve this issue.
