Category pages loading very slow

    Hello,
    I don’t know why, but category subpages take a long time to load while your plugin is active. The rest of the pages are loaded normally.

    Hi,

    I disabled all plugins, only the Accept Stripe Payments plugin was active. The problem persists, category pages load very long (2-3 minutes), the rest of the page loads normally.

    Likewise, when Accept Stripe Payments plugin is disabled, category pages load normally.

    I found out that the problem may be the Accept Stripe Payments plugin widget in the footer. When this widget is disabled, categories load normally..

    Can you please give more details in terms of which widget in the footer you are referring to? I am not seeing this issue anywhere else, so more information regarding the particular condition would help me try to recreate this on my site.

    Also, note that this conflict is most likely with the theme on this site (not a plugin).

    Hi,
    When we create a normal text widget with this shortcode in the widget section [accept_stripe_payment price = “0” name = “Donation” button_text = “Donate Custom Amount”], all / category / EXAMPLECATEGORY subpages are loading for a long time.

    When I deleted this shortcode with payment button, the subpages of the categories are loading normally.

    Hi, just to confirm with you. Does your shortcode look similar to the following one? The reason why I am asking you is because your shortcode above is not correct. The one below has been edited and corrected.

    Yes, this is the same shortcode. The payment button was working fine.
    We have currently kicked this shortcode from the footer widget and the subcategory pages are loading properly.

    I solved my problem in a different way, but the plugin problem still persists when I put the payment button in the footer.

    That is related to your theme. You should get in contact with your theme developers about this issue.
