Category Pages Stopped working

    Hi guys,
    I followed the instruction for removing the old AMP plugin, updating WP AMP then reinstalling AMP by Automattic.
    Everything went fine except that not the category pages linked in the AMP menu are just throwing a blank page.
    I have re-saved the permalinks, re-saved the menu itself, turned off and then turned back on Archive Page support and still nothing.

    Am I missing something?

  • Stating the obvious but do you have the archive support for categories and tags turned on in the advanced settings tab?

    No I don’t use that add-on.

    This may not be helpful but what is your posts page set to in admin -> settings – reading – I notice you have this category/blog/ Is blog a category really?

    Also what happens if you choose say design 2

    I am having the same problem but not with all menu/category items, just some. And I don’t use the Category Base remover plugin.

    In config.php you can turn on debug and see what errors get thrown up on the non-AMP and AMP pages

    The “posts” page is set to nothing and yes, there really is a category called blog.
    As I mentioned in the op yes, archive pages support is on.
    The site was working perfectly until the AMP by Automattic and subsequent WQP AMP updates recently.
    Since then I followed the exact instructions given by the WP AMP guys for removing the old AMP plugin completely, then updating the WP AMP plugin and finally re-adding the updated AMP plugin.
    So here we are!

    We really apologize for this inconvenience.

    It is happening with the new updates only, but not to everyone.

    We are working on it and going to release another update ASAP, and we are hoping to resolve all these issues with it and will make it stable again.
