Category Pages with Posts Ratings

The shortcode (when used in a template) seems to only work on single posts. When I place the shortcode into my category page, in the while loop, the rating doesn’t show up for each post.

echo do_shortcode(‘[yasr_visitor_votes size=”medium”]’);

Is there a way to activate this?
