• Hi adryyy,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Many channels require the Home > to be part of the category path, that is why our plugin puts it in there. Why are you thinking it is not working correctly?

Found the problem. Many of my products doesn’t have meta key _yoast_wpseo_primary_product_cat completed, and this block your plugin from create a category path.
It’s pretty hard to complete Yoast meta key, as they don’t offer a good solution for bulk complete.
Would be nice to add an option to use category path generated by Woocommerce (ex. when export products in Woocommerce, you get something like this Sisteme de alarm? antiefrac?ie > Detectoare > Detectoare de mi?care), as it’s good.
Also, please make a bit more clear in specify you use Yoast to determine the category. Put a parenthesis at category option, at mapping, to make things clear for users :).

Okey, fixed it by implementing two methods from WC_CSV_Exporter

    https://pastebin.com/05SGniKv

Would be nice to see this implemented in an official update. Also ability to disable Home >, as i think you can put it easy as a prefix, in admin menu.

    Results look like this

Accesorii generale > Acumulatori

Sisteme de supraveghere video > Pachete complete de supraveghere video

Which is what i need :).

Perfect you got it to work yourself, very creative ?? !

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions.

    All the best,
    Eva

    Hi support

I have a problem with categories paths as doesn’t seem to work correctly.
I try to put field mapping category value Category path, but not work and see only two root of path… not all. For example
Home > New Products 2018

    I wait your answer.
    Thanks for co-operation
    Kostas

    Hi Kostas,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

It seems like your products are sitting in multiple categories, New Products 2018, being one of them. The plugin will randomly get one of the categories the product is in unless you are using the primary category from the Yoast SEO plugin in which case our plugin will retrieve the primary category.

    Hope this makes sense?

    All the best,
    Eva
