Category permalinks cause critical error

Hello. I’ve been using the classified listing pro pluging for 2 + years and it’s worked great. I’ve even had Radius complete some custom work for me which has been great, so I’m happy with the plugin and support.

However there was a critical error message on my site 10 days ago which I think was caused by a classified listing conflict with Yoast SEO. Since that time I have experienced continuous errors when trying to view categories or locations.

In summary:

CL Category and location archive pages no longer work UNLESS the category or description is populated, but the description is displayed 2 x.

• Determined the Category Description Field MUST be populated in order display the category or location using the permalink
• Screen HTTP500 error if no description is included in the category or location
• a query https://hamshack.ca/listings/?q=&rtcl_location=&rtcl_category=11-meter-radio works fine and will return 11 meter radios
• using this permalink works but will show the description 2 X https://hamshack.ca/rtcl_category/11-meter-radio/
• remove the description from the category and use the same permalink https://hamshack.ca/rtcl_category/11-meter-radio/ will cause a HTTP500 error and max out memory on the site

I’m wondering if any other users have experienced a similar problem or have suggestions on how this can be repaired. I use the category description to display Shortcodes for featured and top listings so it’s critical that the description is displayed correctly.

I have submitted several support tickets to the Radius Support team but have not had a satisfactory response, and really need this problem fixed.

Hoping someone has some suggestions.
