Category Plugin Question

  • My boss wants to redo our blogs so that if you’re on the home page, you can select for each parent category whether to show or not show the child categories.

    Then when you go to a parent category page, it will show the children of only that parent category.

    For instance.

    Home page – the category list would be able to be setup in the backend to pick which channels show their children, and which dont.

    Actors
    Actresses
    TV Shows
    – American idol
    – Sopranos
    TV Networks
    – NBC
    – CBS
    – MTV

    Now if you click on Actors, it will show

    Actors
    – Al Pacino
    – Robert Deniro
    – Joe Pesci
    – Frank Smith
    Actresses
    TV Shows
    TV Networks
