  • Greetings bidnaseem:

Thank you for choosing to use this plugin!

On your options tab, what do you have the “Which system is this quiz graded on?” option set to? If you have it set to Points, then you will use %CATEGORY_POINTS%%/CATEGORY_POINTS% and %CATEGORY_AVERAGE_POINTS%. If you have it set to Correct/Incorrect, then you will use %CATEGORY_SCORE%%/CATEGORY_SCORE% and %CATEGORY_AVERAGE_SCORE%. To use these variables correctly, refer to our documentation on template variables.

I have three categories, 30 questions, each question has 5 possible Answers valid either 1 to 5 points.

I set under “Which system is this quiz graded on?” to Points and used for Email for User and Administrator these options:
    %CATEGORY_POINTS%%/CATEGORY_POINTS% and %CATEGORY_AVERAGE_POINTS%.

On the results page, category points always display ‘0’.
    please help. thnx

    Greetings ChristlLang:

Thank you for choosing to use this plugin. We would be more than happy to assist you with this. Please ensure that you are using the variables correctly by referring to the linked documentation. The category points variable should look like the example:
    “%CATEGORY_POINTS%History%/CATEGORY_POINTS%”

In these forums, we try to keep every issue on its own topic to allow easier communication between users to better assist users. As the WordPress Support Forums docs say

“Unless you are using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme, and configurations as the original poster, do not post in someone else’s thread. Start your own topic.

Therefore, please create a new topic to continue this conversation.
