category posts show posts and pages, it shouldn't!

  • I have a few pages and posts on my website, pages and posts have categories, with the same name, so when I use the shortcode to display all posts of that category, it shows from posts and pages.

    It is supposed just to give me posts of one category but just posts, not pages.

    How can I overcome this issue?

    Just show me the way, I’ll do what’s left.

    Hi EddyParera,

    When you only add a category attribute to your shortcode, the plugin will try to pull all members of that category regardless of post type.

    Try adding the post_type attribute in addition to the category attribute. If you set post_type='post', you shouldn’t see any pages in your list.
