When creating an event, when I click on a category, several other categories are automatically selected.

For example, clicking on the U9 category automatically results in the selection of Haute-Sa?ne, Jura, Nièvre, etc.

It seems to me that this dysfunction has been present since the last update to Version 6.8.2.1

    Hi @adam56610,

May I ask what is the relation of “Rendre principal” with the categories?
How was it added/connected to the categories?

I can’t reproduce this issue on my test site, so I suspect there’s a conflict that’s causing the issue here. It would be good to test for conflicts. Could you follow the following steps?

    1. Deactivate all other plugins except for The Events Calendar Plugins.
    2. Switching to the Default theme.

Please read the Testing for Conflicts article before doing anything.

To be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.

    Hi Atousa,

Thank you for your help. Indeed, it seems that the Yoast Duplicate Post extension is the cause of this malfunction. I have activated and deactivated it several times. Each time this extension was active the error occurred. I will look for another extension that allows to copy an event.

So I will close the topic.

Once again, a big thank you.
