Category Single page not showing events

you can try to create custom template file in your theme directory then rename it as taxonomy-event_categories.php eg. wp-content/themes/Your theme/taxonomy-event_categories.php then edit this file and copy contents from https://pastebin.com/MSe9SvBq

Thanks the template is working fine. The template name that you have given is wrong.

Correct template name should be taxonomy-event-categories.php
