Category Slugs – Multiple of the same name in different parents

Hi,

I’m setting up an events website and having some difficulty in setting up the website architecture in relation to the event types and locations.

I have several different event types, e.g. Marketing Events, Design Events & Music Events. For each type I want to have a location page that I will be setting up through subcategories. For example I have created the subcategories under each event type of England, Cheshire and Chester.

Which works fine for the first location URL e.g.

https://www.example.com/marketing-events/england/cheshire/chester/

But for the next event type because the event slug is already being used in another category, it is producing a URL such as below.

https://www.example.com/design-events/england-marketing-events/cheshire-england-marketing-events/chester-cheshire-england-marketing-events/

How can I avoid this so that the above URL would be the below.

https://www.example.com/design-events/england/cheshire/chester/

I tried manually overriding the slug but that doesn’t work.

Alos, if there is a way to avoid having the other locations in the URL that would be even better e.g.

https://www.example.com/marketing-events/england/
https://www.example.com/marketing-events/cheshire/
https://www.example.com/marketing-events/chester/
