Category template is skipped in favour of archive

  • Hey,

    Have a little problem with a category specific template. I have a category with the slug case-studies and my URL (working locally) is https://localhost:8080/category/case-studies/

    However, my WordPress install skips right to the Archive.php template instead of category-case-studies.php

    Googled and stack overflowed this quite a lot but no clues. Have also tried changing to Category ID instead.

    Theme is based on underscores.me.

    Any ideas would be helpful at this point.
