Some of our categories have an ampersand character in the title. When a product is rendered the category title is displayed below. Since the last update the category title is not shown correctly anymore. Instead of “X & Y” the category title now shows “X &amp”.

We know this has not been the case before, because we use BackstopJS to compare the pages.

    Hi @ronnie129 ,

Sorry to hear about the issue with the ampersand in your category titles after the recent update. It sounds like there might be an encoding problem when the titles are being displayed.

However, I couldn’t find exactly what you described on your site when I checked the URL you shared (https://permastart.de/shop). Could you point me to the category page with the error or share a screenshot of what you see? You can use snipboard.io to take a screenshot or loom.com to record your screen in case you want to share a recording. Then share the link here.

If the error is still showing, try clearing your browser cache to rule out any visual issues from outdated data. You can also try resaving the affected category names in your WooCommerce settings by following these steps:

    1. Navigate to Products > Categories.
    2. Click on the category with the ampersand issue to edit it.
    3. Without making any changes, scroll down and click the ‘Update’ button.

Looking forward to getting this sorted out.
