    Hi @sooskriszta,

    You can import category hierarchy using greater than symbol between the parent and child category.
    Eg: If you are required to import the main category Clothes with child category Shirt then you may please add data Clothes>Shirt in the category column of CSV.

    I think I may not have explained correctly (or maybe I misunderstood your response).

    I am not talking about assigning categories to products. Rather I am talking about creating product categories in WooCommerce.

    Are you saying that if I include Clothes>Shirt as category for a product p1 in the import file, and neither Clothes not Shirt exists in WooCommerce, then this extension will create these two categories in the correct hierarchy and assign the product p1 to Shirt?

    Hi @sooskriszta,

    Yes, new categories will be created by the plugin if it is not already existing on the site.
