    Hi @louisapple,

When I try to access the “Screws” subcategory, the page reloads but it doesn’t let me access the subcategory page. It sounds like this issue may be caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

Could you please perform a conflict test by following the steps below?

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated.

To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts.

Make sure you have a full backup in place of your site and database before making any changes. You could consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong after installing the plugin you can restore your site to the previous state.

    Thanks.

    Hi @louisapple,

Sorry for the delayed response here.

I’d suggest installing a plugin called Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it allows you to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

For further troubleshooting, however, provide us the following:

    • System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
    • Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved.

Hopefully, you were able to find a way forward with the issue – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
