    Hello all,

Since I have switched to Thesis and it seems to have great SEO functionality, I decided to delete the plugin I had been using – WordPress SEO by Yoast.

As you may know, that plugin has a feature where you can remove the “category” part of the URLs for category pages. I had selected that feature.

With the plugin now removed, the category links widget on my website point to “https://www.site.com/category/category_name”. Clicking on a category links sends you straight back to my home page. If I type “https://www.site.com/category/category_name” directly into the address bar in my browser, it displays the category page.

So, it would appear that the plugin changed the location of all the category pages, and did not change them back when it was deactivated.

How can I restore the default setting, so that my category widget links to the category pages, and doesnt redirect back to the homepage?

    Thanks!
