Category workflow is frustrating

I cannot begin to explain how frustrating it is to import over 3000 categories and have to open each edit-category page one by one to assign each category to one of 4 listing types.

Can we not have an interface in the listing type editor where we simply select and de-select the categories we need?

Please consider for next update as this is beyond frustrating.
