category.php missing

  • I downloaded the latest version and it doesn’t have the category.php file in the themes folder. Where is it??

  • You don’t really need them, most most themes do have at least the archive.php and archives.php. If they aren’t there, WP will use index.php which works fine in most cases (if you don’t mind the archive has the same make-up as the index).
