• Customizer displayed errors. Deactivated new plugins one by one and found that Piklist & WordPress Helpers were the cause of the error. Once deactivated, all errors disappeared.

So sorry you had an issue with Piklist and WP Helpers.

You’re the first person to ever report this. If you could help us debug this we would appreciate.

    1) If you just deactivate WP Helpers does the issue go away?
    2) If not, to help us reproduce:
    -Activate Helpers
    -Click on the “Develop” tab
-Copy everything in “WP Helpers database settings”.
    -email to [email protected]

    Thanks!

As explained, WP Helpers was deactivated, the errors disappeared, and the Theme Customizer returned to normal. Prior to that, the wheel just went round and round; the visual display was all coding and the Customizer menu was blank – there were no options available for selection. Unfortunately, I’m unable to provide any additional information as once root of the cause was found, Piklist and its dependent plugin “WP Helpers” was deleted. Sorry, I like testing plugins, however if it’s going to disruption my business website, it’s gone. Cheers!

I understand the urgency of removing plugins that effect your business. This is why I’m taking this review so seriously, because it effects our business as well.

So it seems that WP Helpers was the issue, not Piklist itself, correct?

WP Helpers has over 50 different settings. Since you’re the only one that has ever reported an issue, my guess is that is was ONE of the settings, not the ENTIRE plugin itself. And possibly a conflict with your setup: maybe the theme or another plugin.

I’m just clarifying for our team, and for any other users that may come across your review and want to try Piklist or WP Helpers:
    1. Even though this review was left under “Piklist”, “WP Helpers” was actually the issue.
    2. And even though WP Helpers was the issue, it’s seems that one of the 50+ settings conflicted.

    Is that fair to say?

Also, did you report this on the support forum or just leave the 1 star review? We provide some of the best support around, and answer questions quickly and I don’t recall seeing a ticket with this issue.
