    Hi there,

Could you explain the Dashboard issues in some more detail? Do you have any other plugins installed?

    Hi,

Yes, a couple of specific examples.

Note: The problems seem to ONLY affect the Admin functions while the website front-end seems to be fine.

When I click Dashboard and go to the Updates page I get a 500 server error.

Also, when I try to add a new post, only part of the page loads.

This happened in IE 11 but I have had reports of the same exact issues in Chrome as well.

If you do NOT see this issue, then there may be some other issue I need to deal with.

After I deactivate your plugin, the issues goes away and everything seems fine. I tried deleting the plugin completely and doing a clean re-install but the same thing happened. All this started AFTER updating to WP 4.1

Thanks for any insight you might have.

    Hi Woody,

Thanks for the additional information. This issue is most likely due to our plugin conflicting with another plugin or your theme. When you visit the Updates page (or any other Dashboard page that shows the 500 error) could you take a look at the browser console to see if any errors are being reported?

To do this, you would open your browser’s developer tools, then go go the Console tab. In Chrome or Firefox, you can right click anywhere on the page and click “Inspect Element”, then go to the Console tab.

    Thanks!

Hey Matt. Good call. The problem is caused by a conflict with another Plug-In (I was able to duplicate this with yet another plugin that I installed new).

There is some issue with WP User Avatar by Flippercode that doesn’t allow your code to work with theirs (or vice versa). I’ll advise them too and maybe you all can figure it out.

Thanks for the awesome support. We really appreciated it.

It looks like the other plug-in has several issues playing well with others so I considered this problem resolved.

    Thanks again for your help.
