Caxton not working with Internet Explorer?

  • I am noticing on the past 6 websites I have created, the column features using Caxton are not working on Internet Explorer. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this or code to add?

    Caxton Layout Columns use new technology that isn’t supported by Internet Explorer (internet explorer hasn’t been development for years).

    Caxton layouts work great on Microsoft Edge though which is the browser shipped with windows and one microsoft are now developing.

    As Jamie mentioned, I think the Caxton plugin has liberal use of Flexbox which isn’t supported in really old browsers like Explorer. If you’re designing for old really old browsers stick with the Gutenberg column block. Those seem to work in IE.
