I’ve recently installed Caxton to enable a bit more personalisation with my woocommerce site.

I use Yoast SEO plugin to do all the SEO stuff and didn’t realise that Caxton was involved with SEO at all, I can’t see this on the plugin pages at all.

Anyone know how I can mitigate the current conflict I have of running 2 SEO plugins? I only want Yoast for SEO and Caxton for the layouts it provides.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks. Tom

  • Hi Tom

Caxton isn’t involved in SEO at all, it’s not an SEO plugin.

It’s a collection of Gutenberg Blocks,

We use Yoast and Caxton together with no issues, so i think something else is causing your conflict,

    kind regards,
    Jamie

You’re absolutely right @jamesmarsland, thanks ever so much for taking the time to respond. It turns out the conflict was with a plugin I was using for a simple 301 redirect, didn’t realise it had turned on about 16 other features when I activated it which included SEO functions… lesson learned.

Many thanks again and apologies for wasting your time.

Cool – thanks for letting me know Tom ??
