CBR mode not recognize

    HI, with the validator “https://castfeedvalidator.com” I get always the error
    “WARNING: Your bitrate mode is not set to CBR. This is the optimal setting for podcast audio.” but I encode my MP3 in CBR mode. How can I fix the warning? Thank you

    Hi ghery,

    If you know for sure your media files are encoded in CBR, you are fine. Cast Feed Validator does have trouble with that sometimes. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    HI Shawn, I’m sure! I used two different software to encode my wav to mp3 and in both cases the CBR function was enable. Thank you for support.

    Hello @ghery,

    If you do not mind sharing your podcast feed, we can use that for testing to see why it is thinking your using a variable bit rate instead of a constant bit rate.

    Thanks! I see its a CBR but the ID3 tags do not state as such, which may be the problem. Do you know what software was used to make the mp3s?

    Hi @amandato : I created the mp3s with Audacity for Mac.
