• I have a CDN service provided by IONOS my hosting provider.
So I have no access to cloudfare or other website directly.
How can I configure the CDN on the plugin?

    Best regards, Edwin

  • Hi @edwinvr0,

From our experience, best not to connect directly to a CDN service using this plugin. We use Cloudlfare and are not connected to it via this plugin. This allows us to control better our CDN settings and purge our cache in a controlled manner.

Let’s see what the developer says about this.

    Thanks generosus,

I think you can’t get your CDN from the plugin, but they need to know your CDN to collaborate with it to harmonize the cache rules. That’s what I understood.

    Hi @edwinvr0,

It possible but, so far, we’re not having any issues.

Once you establish all of your plugin and CDN settings, simply clear your cache in this order and you should be good to go. Keep in mind that there are hundreds of CDN services out there.

    Cheers!

    Update:

We just conducted a test where we connected this plugin to Cloudflare, then paused our Cloudflare account using this plugin (CDN interface). It did not work. So, we’ll open a separate support topic requesting more info or clarification about this. Meanwhile, we’ve disconnected this plugin from our Cloudflare account. All good!

You need to create an account via cloudflare.com instead of using it via hosting provider.

    Hi @edwinvr0,

Just learned that IONOS offers their CDN service via Cloudflare.

So, following @emrevona’s reply, it appears your host (IONOS) needs to give you the Cloudflare data (i.e., API Token) required by WP Fastest Cache.

In any case, you should still be able to access your Cloudflare portal to obtain the required API token. Contact your host (IONOS) for assistance. I would.

    Stepping out ??

    Cheers!
