Amazing!!. Still not believe the result as I was trying to configure autoptimize for hours/days to bring it up to 75 on Google page speed, pingdom, etc. this plugin did the job in seconds without any config change reaching now above 90 on speed tools. No idea what technology is using but from what I can see till now, nothing is broken.
webpagetest.org, from 7 seconds to load, now on 1.7???. So still don’t believe what kind of magic is used here!

one small issue on redirects. it redirects some images from my CDN back to the origin.

    How can I solve this?

    Hi Giorgos,

The plugin currently does not support CDNs. We hope to fix that in an upcoming release.

A CDN is most useful when you have users from multiple continents. In that case I would recommend that you use Cloudflare. It offers a CDN for your entire site, and works automatically with PhastPress.

    Albert,

Thanks for you support, Huge gains on performance with your plugin!!. As I’m not using Cloudflare, so I hope CDN support comes soon. (any estimate?).
Without my hosting provider’s CDN, my bandwidth usage increased significantly (they count and charge)

Is there an easy temporary fix? htaccess rules maybe?

    Hi Giorgos,

Yeah, I see, that’s annoying. Unfortunately, I cannot think of a quick way to change the URL to the file that serves resources in Phast.

For now, you could disable image optimization in PhastPress. That will save most of the bandwidth.

I’ll be on a holiday soon until the end of the month, but I’m going to have a look if I can add this functionality to Phast in July. I’ll keep you posted.

Irrelevant for this topic but want to mention that I have installed Phast on another site and scores on PageSpeed insights are:
    Before – Mobile 11, desktop 46
    After – Mobile 93, desktop 94

Thank you Giorgos! I haven’t forgotten, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet, either. I’ll let you know personally as soon as this feature has been added.
