    Hi everybody,

I’m looking for a feature, plugin or tool that can help get text from cells in Google Spreadsheets to comments on specific pages.

So here is the deal, I receive a lot of user generated content directly in Google Spreadsheets with no way (yet) to automatically drip them in the comment section of specific pages.

If anyone knows of a tool or plugin that can connect these dots for me that would be much appreciated.

    [redacted]

    Thanks in advance!

    Kevin

@kevin9001 – please do not offer any form of compensation in these forums. I advise you to ignore any offers of paid assistance arising from your offer here. (Which I have since redacted, but it’s no doubt cached somewhere). Offering payment can bring out unsavory sorts trolling for people to take advantage of, which is why we are forced to prohibit offers of compensation. The vast majority of forum members are honest, well meaning people, but it only takes one bad actor to ruin it for everyone.

I’m also moving your topic to the Fixing WP forum, where we are placing plugin requests like yours. The Developing WP forum is for resolving issues in custom coding.

While not exactly what you are looking for, a lot of forum regulars here use a text expander tool of some sort to use in making stock replies to questions. You would need to manage your stock replies within the tool rather than on Google Spreadsheets, but otherwise it should meet your needs.

    Hi,

Thanks for the advice and suggested solution. I’m quite sure the text expander tools I’ve seen so far won’t help me achieve what I’m trying to do. My Spreadsheets are living documents, updated automatically multiple times a day with new UGC, which would ideally be visible on the website as well.

Looking forward to other suggestions though.

    Kind regards,

    Kevin

Google Sheets (and other Google docs) can be published as a whole or just partially (see Google’s documentation how to do this). In essence you get a piece of code you can embed onto your site and it will show the current content of the Sheet. However this requires, that the document is made public on the Google’s end.
