• So It’s so strange – it was fine yesterday and then all of the sudden, all the images on my blog are showing up on the blog as “left” align, even though in edit mode they are centered (like I wanted them to be) and I even checked the html code to make sure they have the center align in there and they do. But they are still showing up as left align. This happened to EVERY post. What on earth?
Any insight as to how to fix this??

  • Did you install a Pinterest plugin recently. It’s wrapping your images in a span. Your image is centred in it’s parent element, the span, which is defaulting to left aligned.

It’s your Pinterest plugin. It’s wrapping all of your post images in <span class="pibfi_pinterest"></span> tags, and the plugin’s CSS has specified display: inline-block for those elements. This is causing the centring of the images to miscarry.

My recommendation: use a different Pinterest plugin. The plugin that you’ve chosen is reported by several users to be broken in WP 3.8 and has a lot of negative reviews. From my perspective, it seems to be rather clumsily constructed.

You could perhaps try this one or this one instead, or search in the WordPress plugins directory yourself for something that suits your needs.
