Center and Size Videos:Voltata

    Hi Sultenhest:
    Thank you for assisting us with limaproduction.com. How do we size our videos to the requested dimensions, and center them? They are showing full width, even after specifying the height and width. An example is here:

    https://www.limaproduction.com/thumbnails/ethiopian-airlines/

    We wish to display them on the Full Width page, centered, and per the specified width and height. Thank you so much again.

    Hello,

    As of now you need to style the video elements through CSS since the theme doesn’t operate with shortcodes when it comes to embedded videos.

    In order to get the full width page, simply select the ‘Fullwidth Page’ page template in the Page Attribute section, when editing that specific page.

    Thank you so much. I have installed the plugin CodeFlavors Vimeo Video Post Lite to use for the videos. Does Voltata work with this plugin, or can you recommend another vimeo video plugin that will be more compatible?

    Hello,

    You dont really need a plugin for that. Either simply copy + paste the link into the page or post editor and Voltata will automatically change it into a functioning full width video. The other option is to use the embed option on Vimeos site. It will generate a short code similar to this:

    <iframe src="LINK-HERE?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0" width="500" height="281" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe>

    This way allow you to specify the width and height without using CSS. Please be aware that you need to post this code into the ‘Text’ part of the editor (not the ‘Visual’/WYSIWYG). If you wish to center align it, add the center-block CSS class to the iframe tag.
