• Hi,
    many compliments for the plugin.
I will rate it with 5 star for sure.

    I have a question:

Can I center a layer map with a lot of markers, in a particular marker without use the latitude and longitude?

    Now, for that i do:
    [mapsmarker layer=”2″ layerzoom=”5″ layerviewlat=47.4811282 layerviewlon=18.9902194]

Is there any more friendly system to specify the center point of the map?

    Thanks in advance,
    Francesco

  • Hi Francesco,
thanks for your feedback which is very appreciated!
regarding your question about layer center point: well if you save a layer map on backend, you actually set a fixed layer center point which gets used if e.g. the shortcode [mapsmarker layer=”2″] only is used. All other parameters like layerviewlat and layerviewlon (according to the Shortcode API docs at https://mapmarker.com/shortcode-api) were added to allow overwritting of the default value of a layer. Currently I do not see another method to set a new layer center point by shortcode attributes. How would your ideal solution look like?
    best,
    Robert
