• Hello,
I’ve added a row for a picture and a row for some text and now I want both rows to center the content. Is there an easy way to do this? I looked around but I couldn’t find any settings I could alter to achieve this. Do I need additional css for this? And if I need more additional css is it better practice to create a child theme?
I can’t give a link to the web page since its in development on localhost.

    Thank you in advance,
    Bert

  • Hey @berttervoert ,

Firstly, are you a free or pro user? Flash theme do give the user some widget that will automatically center the content. If you are a free user and the widget you are using is not making it center then you might have to add some additional css. As, you said you could use FT:Image widget for a picture and FT:Heading for the text. They will automatically center the content. Also, few additional css will do no harm to the theme.

If the above information do not work to be helpful then please provide us the site URL after it’s been live. We have to inspect and give you the proper solution.

    Good Day.

I’m a free user. I tried the FT:image widget, but it doesn’t automatically center the content. I tried using it in a row and just as a widget below the FT:slider, but in both cases it aligns to the left.
I’m using the homepage from your demo content and I have deleted everything except the FT:slider. I first used the generic wordpress image widget and text widget, but they also align to the left. So I guess I have to add some css to center the content.

Is there any major difference in using a widget in a row or just as is on a page?
    Thanks again for your reply

    Hey,

There is no such difference. As you can see here: https://prnt.sc/qvezty this is the link of our FT:Heading widget where text are align in center by default. So, I suggest you to first live the site and send us the URL then we will assist you. If you want to use additional css then you may.

    Good Day
