Center the Daily quote div

  • I want the div to be center on the page. I have altered the base code quite a bit, but can’t seem to make this work. Set both left and right margins to auto, and that didn’t help. Anyone have an idea?

  • I found that in visual mode/tab that applying center as well as color and size from the top menu to the short code works.
    I changed the color, enlarged it, and centered it and everything displayed on the quote when WP updated.
    The short code I’m using is inside a table, not sure if that matters.

    In order to center the div you would need to make sure the width setting is smaller than the parent element.

    You should keep in mind other CSS commands and any parent elements can alter desired outcomes. It is however possible as the plugin does not force or lock you into any specific theme.
